What exactly does OnBeat do?
You upload your AI-generated clips and one song. OnBeat detects the beats, cuts your clips on them, adds motion (subtle zooms), crossfades, and flash accents, then hands back a finished music video. No timeline, no keyframes, no editing degree.
What counts as a render?
One successful finished video. If a render fails for any reason, it never counts against your balance — not as a refund, it simply never gets charged. That's a design decision, not a policy.
What happens if I hit my monthly limit mid-project?
We never leave you stranded. Grab a 20-render top-up for $9.99, or upgrade your plan — both take effect instantly. Your limit resets at the start of each month.
Why is the free tier watermarked?
Free gives you 5 full renders to feel the magic — the watermark comes off the moment you're on any paid plan. We'd rather you test with real renders than a crippled demo.
What formats do you support?
Upload: .mp4 clips and a .wav or .mp3 song. Output: vertical 9:16, widescreen 16:9, or square 1:1 — auto-detected from your clips, or force one. Ready for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube.
What are cues?
Plain-English directions for your edit, like "zoom out on the bridge at 0:45" — written one per line as MM:SS-MM:SS and an effect (zoom_in, zoom_out, no_zoom, flash, hold). They override the automatic choices for that part of the song.
How long does a render take?
Usually a few minutes for a full-length song. You can watch the progress live in the Studio.
Do you generate video with AI?
No — and that's why our pricing is honest. Generators burn expensive GPU time and pass the gamble to you as "credits." OnBeat stitches, syncs, and finishes the clips you already have, which costs us little — so a render is a render, never a roll of the dice.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Your plan runs to the end of the paid month and simply doesn't renew. Your account and remaining renders stay live until then.
